When billionaire industrialist Tony Stark was captured by Asian terrorists, and ordered to make weapons for them to help overthrow the United States, he instead made a suit of armor to help him escape. Upon returning home, Tony began construction on a new suit of armor, and now saves the less fortunate as the Invincible Iron Man!
To date, Iron Man has over 43 suits of armor.
2D Fighters[]
Iron Man tied with Q in the first round of the inaugural Heir to the Throne tournament, but then defeated Sonya Blade in the first-round tiebreaker to advance. Round 2 saw Iron Man go up against Axl Low, whom he tied. In their immediate rematch, Iron Man was victorious. However, in round 3, Iron Man was defeated by Marco Rossi.
Earth's Mightiest[]
Iron Man was eliminated by Venom late in the first round.
3D Fighters[]
Iron Man defeated Darth Vader in the first round, Ryu in the second, and tied with Sonic the Hedgehog in the third, eliminating them both from the tournament.
