Kasumi is a renegade kunoichi from the Dead Or Alive series of fighting games. As one of the three original DOA ladies, Kasumi has become the franchise's main protagonist. Entering the first Dead Or Alive tournament to find her brother, Kasumi won the tournament. She was cloned, and therefore entered the second tournament to defeat her clone, in which she succeeded. Kasumi twice again enters the DOA tournament to find her brother, but fails upon both occasions.
Between tournaments, Kasumi is often invited by Zack to play volleyball and other summer activities.
