Jessica's day-to-day life as the owner of Alias Investigations
The owner of Alias Investigations, private detective Jessica Jones was doused by radioactive chemicals as a teenager, granting her the abilities of superhuman strength and flight. She attempted to become the heroine known as Jewel before an incident with The Purple Man left her unable to cope with the responsibilities of being a super hero.
Jessica eventually fell in love with Luke Cage, whom she mothered a child with. Eventually, the two were married, and Jessica joined her husband as one of the Mighty Avengers!
Jessica's debut title, Alias was the first R-Rated comic book from Marvel, and the first Marvel comic to print the word "fuck".
